‘Yellowstone’ TV: Has Beth Dutton’s Age Ever Been Revealed?

by Evan Reier

It doesn’t take much Yellowstone to get a perfectly good idea of who Beth Dutton is. In fact, it probably takes less than an episode.

However, the joy of watching a program like Yellowstone are the little details. Getting to know the specifics of the character or Beth, as well as the rest of the cast, is something fans can’t get enough of.

This got us thinking. How old is Beth? Just by looking at the Dutton daughter, it’s clear she’s a full-grown woman deep into her adult life. However, the exact age isn’t exactly a focal point of the character or the show.

After a bit of research, though, it’s not a hidden fact or one that’s been omitted. Our friends over on the Yellowstone subreddit handled this fairly quickly. In the post, users nail down that Beth’s starting age in the show is 34-years-old

Further, the passage of time into Season 2 is also highlighted. Kelly Reilly’s character ages a year in that span. However, as far as we can tell, there is no established number for the times we see Beth in Season 3.

All things considered, that sounds about right. Beth always had a look of someone in their mid-to-late 30s.

All Ages of Yellowstone’s Dutton Children

Based on our research, the season-by-season ages aren’t established. But we can at least do some basic math to get an idea. Especially when the same Reddit post linked above touches on the subject.

It can be easy to forget about Lee, the eldest Dutton child who was killed in Season 1 during the first skirmish between the Broken Rock Reservation and the Dutton Family. During his funeral, you can see his birth and death dates, which shows Lee to be 38-years-old at the time of his death.

Later on, we learn that Jamie is 36 during Season 1, so it’s probably safe to say that he, like Beth, ages a year during Season 1 and Season 2, leaving him at 37 during the second season.

To round out the Dutton kids besides Beth, Kayce is said to “just” turn 29 during Season 1. The youngest brother of the Duttons is often treated as the runt, but his ability in combat and growth over three seasons is arguably one of the best parts of the show.
