In fact, in a 2020 social media post just before the premiere of “Yellowstone”‘s third season, Wahlberg said it’s his favorite show. He qualified that statement by saying it’s his favorite show “that he doesn’t act in.” Still, the former New Kids on the Block star definitely loves him some “Yellowstone.” We here at Outsider feel ya, Donnie. In 2020, Wahlberg was responding to the release of the season three trailer for “Yellowstone” when he made the comment. Check out his social media post declaring his favorite show.
“My favorite show (that I do not act in) is coming back,” he says in the 2020 social media post. “Yellowstone through the entire summer then hand the baton off to Blue Bloods when it comes back in the fall. Can’t Wait! It’s that good!”
As if that weren’t enough, he took it a step further in another 2020 social media post. In this post, he offered up even more praise for the Paramount Network hit series.
“One of my favorite shows of all time,” he says with a “Yellowstone” hashtag at the end.
Wahlberg has yet to comment on the quickly approaching new season of the modern western drama, but it’s safe he is looking forward to its arrival. Like all “Yellowstone” fans, ourselves included, he anxiously awaits the fourth season, which expects to premiere this month.
The question on everyone’s mind is when will new episodes of “Yellowstone” begin? The show’s producers have said they hope to premiere the fourth season in June. Beyond that though…it’s been radio silence. We’ve yet to see a trailer or any kind of official release date posting.
The previous three “Yellowstone” seasons have all premiered on Father’s Day. The day we celebrate dads falls on June 20 this year and “Yellowstone” fans believe that is a date to keep in mind.
While that could ultimately be the case, many “Yellowstone” fans find the lack of information regarding the new season to be odd and even a little frustrating. Those DVR’s aren’t going to set themselves that’s for sure.
So we must continue to wait in good faith that the new season is drawing close. Every “Yellowstone” fan, even Donnie Wahlberg most likely, is on pins and needles waiting for the official launch announcement.
