Filming for Season 4 of “Yellowstone” is now over for two of the show’s biggest stars. Both Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler) and Brecken Merrill (Tate Dutton) have taken to social media to share with their fans that they have wrapped up their filming for the next season of the hit Paramount Network series.
On Saturday, Hauser, 45, posted a photo on Instagram explaining that he is already jetting off to take on his next project. “Finished Yellowstone S4 yesterday. Landed in #puertoricolast night,” he captions the post. “This is my new movie #panama. Inspired by true events in 1989. Pics to come!”
The photo shows the script for Hauser’s forthcoming project “Panama” resting on what appears to be a table for two set by the ocean.
Thousands of Hauser’s fans chimed in to share their reaction to Hauser wrapping filming on S4. “That’s amazing, so happy for you guys and that you managed to film it all and during a pandemic, what a Herculean task 👏👏,” one commenter writes. “The new season can’t come soon enough!!! Ready for Rip to kick some more a–!!,” another said.
As for Hauser’s last photo from the S4 set, at the end of October, Hauser uploaded a photo showing him and the other bunkhouse ranchers horseback at the ranch. He tagged many of them including Teeter actress Jen Landon and real-life cowboy Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd on the series.
Brecken Merrill’s Last Post From Season 4 Behind-the-Scenes
Also this month, Brecken Merrill, the youngster behind character Tate Dutton, revealed that he has finished filming S4. The 12-year-old actor shared a series of photos with the caption: “That’s a wrap on Tate for @yellowstone season 4!! Thank you so much to the cast and crew. I love you all!!”
In the photos, Merrill can be seen posing with a handful of stars from the show including Kelsey Asbille, Gil Birmginham, and Mo Brings Plenty.
Much like Hauser, many of Merrill’s fans expressed their excitement for more episodes of the hit drama. “You have a bright future ahead of you young man! This is by far a favorite show and wishing you all the best,” one user writes. “We all can’t wait to see you again next season.Sure looks like Tate is growing up fast,” another comments.
