“Yellowstone” star Cole Hauser has an uplifting message for fans this New Year’s Day.
“Good morning 2021,” the actor posted to Instagram on Friday. “Good morning world. Brighter days ahead! ‘Only if you have been in the deepest of valleys. Do you know how magnificent it is on the highest of peaks.’”

Hauser also shared a photo of a sunrise peeking out from behind a dark cloud over a body of water.
In mid-November, Hauser shared that his scenes from Season 4 were over and he was on to his next project in Puerto Rico.
A Light at the End of the Tunnel for Rip and Beth?
Hauser implied in an August interview with Decider that there may be brighter days ahead for Beth and Rip in Season 4.
“I think he’s starting to” believe that he deserves happiness, Hauser said. “I don’t think [Rip] ever felt like a real relationship with Beth was something that was possible three years ago. With the love that she’s shown him throughout these last episodes and her proposing and giving him a ring… yeah, I think he’s starting to realize, wait a minute, there might be some light at the end of the road for us.”
It certainly didn’t look that way at the end of Season 3, with a bomb going off in Beth’s office while she was inside it and other members of the Dutton clan in equally grave peril. But show co-creator Taylor Sheridan has shown he has more than a few surprises up his sleeve – the maturation of Rip and Beth’s relationship being just one of them.
For “Yellowstone” fans, it’s been a long wait between seasons. Still, 2021 is set to bring a batch of new episodes, as well as the answer to the lingering question of Beth’s fate and whether Rip will ever get to give her his mother’s wedding ring.
