Though it is currently on hiatus, fans of the hit Paramount Network series “Yellowstone” are keeping the Dutton Ranch spirit alive.

They will only have to wait a little longer for a brand new season of their favorite, but that won’t satisfy “Yellowstone” fans. These dedicated have retreated to the bowels of the internet to get their fill of modern western goodness. Online forum site Reddit has become a popular hangout for fans to talk all things “Yellowstone.” The website has an entire message board featuring all the “Yellowstone” discussion you can handle. So, if you’re jonesing for a little of the western life, Reddit’s “Yellowstone” message board is something you check out.

A recent post regarding the show asks “Yellowstone” fans for their thoughts on the complicated dynamic between Jamie and Beth Dutton. We all know the story that led to their broken relationship. When they were just kids, Jamie took Beth to get an abortion. During the procedure, she is sterilized leaving her unable to bear children. Beth despises Jamie for allowing that to happen — and that is a bit of an understatement. The Reddit user suggests that the situation between the two Duttons could become even grimmer.

“In season two, episode eight, Beth and Jamie are facing off in the barn,” the “Yellowstone” fan says. “Beth says ‘someday you will love someone and I can’t wait to take it from you, even if I have to kill it with my bare hands.'”

The Redditor then suggests a sinister plot could be in the works with Beth seeking revenge on Jamie.

“We know Jamie’s ex, Christina, is pregnant, though Beth nor anyone else in the Dutton family knows that yet,” the fan continues. “When Beth finds out, do we actually think she will screw over that baby, or as she promised ‘kill it with my bare hands?’ “

This is a tough idea to digest, to say the least. But this is “Yellowstone” we are talking about here. The first rule of being a “Yellowstone” fan is to expect the unexpected.

“I don’t like to think things will go that far,” a fan says in the comments. “But for sure, Beth could benefit from some professional counseling to tamp down that insane rage.”

Now, that would be a great “Yellowstone” storyline — Beth in anger management counseling. The possibilities of where that could go are endless.

It is highly likely “Yellowstone” will visit the relationship between Jamie and Beth in the upcoming new season. There are certainly a couple of different ways the story can play out. Maybe the quarreling siblings put the issues aside to focus on seeking revenge against the season three attackers. Perhaps Beth continues her rampaging ways to get back at her big brother.

The possibilities are endless for “Yellowstone” and that is why we love it.
