With the new season of hit Paramount Network series “Yellowstone” drawing near, fans are on the edge of their seats with anticipation. And a major part of that anticipation revolves around hoping to see more of two particular characters.

The show owes a great deal of its popularity to excellent character development through each of its first three seasons. Yellowstone revolves around the strength of its characters like the sassy Beth Dutton and grizzled John Dutton.

Yellowstone Watchers Want More Rip and Mo in Season 4

Two characters Yellowstone fans are clamoring for more of are Yellowstone Rancher Rip Wheeler and Thomas Rainwater’s right-hand man, Mo Brings Plenty.

The two characters are similar in that they are very loyal and also very capable. They are both “fixers” of sorts for their organizations and don’t seem to mind getting their hands dirty when the situation calls for it. Specifically, one Reddit user says he would like to see the two henchman interact with each other more often on the show.

“I would love to see more of these two together at some point in season 4,” the poster says. “The scene at the end of season 2 when he’s writing on the horse and they share a joke, that was wholesome. I would love to see those two bust some heads together in season 4.”

Actor Cole Hauser plays the rough and tough Rip Wheeler to near perfection. Along with serving as a foreman on Yellowstone Ranch, Wheeler operates as an enforcer for ranch owners, the Dutton family. Rip is fiercely loyal to the Duttons and especially family patriarch John Dutton. With a tall and sturdy build, Rip wins most fights he willingly enters. We have seen him beat up enemies of the Dutton family, wayward bikers, and even John’s son Kayce Dutton.

We have also seen his softer side from time to time. In a previous season, Rip intentionally loses a fist fight to Kayce in order to give him authority amongst the other ranch hands. Last season, we see Rip struggle to find the courage to ask John for Beth’s hand in marriage. Sensing his anxiety, it is Beth who instead proposes to him. We also witness a tender moment when Rip has his mother’s body exhumed so he can take her wedding ring. Though she’s been dead several year, Rip speaks to his mother as if she is alive and right there in front of him.

Mo Brings Plenty: Thomas Rainwater’s Enforcer

Mo is played by Moses J. Brings Plenty and is more of a “quiet assassin.” A Native American, he is the right-hand man to reservation chief Thomas Rainwater, serving as his driver and assistant.

Much like Rip, Mo’s responsibilities go well beyond simply driving Rainwater around. He is an expert marksman who shoots and kills a would-be rapist after using Monica as bait to lure the person. Mo can also be seen performing Native American blessings with the use of burning sage. He blesses a Yellowstone horse in a earlier season before the ranch crew heads to a conflict.

With the premiere of season four now just months away, Yellowstone watchers hope to see more of these fan-favorite characters.
