You would be hard-pressed to find a more passionate fan base than that of the Paramount Network hit series “Yellowstone” anywhere around.
“Yellowstone” fans are still rejoicing over news that season four will begin later this year in the fall. While fans would have preferred a much earlier premiere date, they are happy to finally have a timeline in place. There is no official date for the season four premiere, but “Yellowstone” should be arriving just as the leaves begin to change. The announcement came from the show’s brand new teaser trailer that was released just a few weeks ago. If nothing else, it gives “Yellowstone” fans a reason to celebrate and something to talk about. Talk about it, they will, as the online forum sites are flooded with “Yellowstone” fans theorizing and speculating on the new season.
“Yellowstone” Cole Hauser also gave fans a reason to cheer as he recently suggests that season five of the hit show is in the works. In an interview with Halls Wines, the Rip Wheeler actor says “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan is hard at work for season five. He also notes that filming for the fifth season could begin sooner than later.
“Taylor is working on it right now and I think we will be back sometime in July,” he says. “I’m looking forward to getting back to Montana. Season five is going to be just wonderful, especially the way we end season four. I can’t give too much away but I think the audience will be happily surprised.”
‘Yellowstone’ Fans Get Excited
Naturally, this sent fans of the modern western drama into a frenzy of excitement. Hauser’s “Yellowstone” comments were the talk of the town, and the internet, as the excitement level for the show grows. Message board forum site, Reddit, is home to many “Yellowstone” fans who want nothing more than to talk about their favorite show. As you would expect, fans quickly jumped into speculation mode regarding season five. Redditors also say a fifth season for “Yellowstone” is a no-brainer and hope that keeps airing for the foreseeable future.
“There was never any doubt,” one Reddit user says. “This is the ultimate dad show. They’re going to milk this as long as possible.”
Other fans wonder aloud just how long the show will run. Through three seasons it has built up a large and loyal following. The popularity of the show is evident in that will spawn two different spin-off shows.
“Taylor said he was going for six seasons,” another “Yellowstone” fan writes. “Now that he has two new shows in the works, unless they fail, I’d expect him to end Yellowstone after six seasons.”
Of course, the future of “Yellowstone” could go in a number of different directions. It could get five seasons or it could get 20 seasons — and that would be perfectly fine with fans.
