As “Yellowstone” fans wait for the highly anticipated fourth installment of the record-breaking western series, they’re going back to season 1 to point out a very interesting character. Or should we say lack-thereof of this character?

Yellowstone” fans air their discrepancies on Reddit about Senator Huntington played by Jill Hennessy, Express shares.

One Reddit user posted, “What happened to Senator Huntington? Was she ever seen after the pilot episode?” They’re right. She only makes an appearance once in “Daybreak.”

The fan then complains, “From the beginning, this show has introduced characters and plotlines [sic], then dropped them.”

In season 1, episode 1 Chief Thomas Rainwater calls on the help of Senator Huntington. The two conspire against John Dutton (Kevin Costner). The Senator offers her help and tells the Broken Rock Chief what she can legally do in this situation. It seems like Huntington is going to play a major role in taking back the massive portion of land that John owns. This is the same land that Rainwater believes belongs to the Indian reservation. However, as soon as she walks out of Chief Rainwater’s office, we never see her again.

Poof. Fans haven’t seen hide nor hair of Huntington since.

Another “Yellowstone” fan comments, “Not as bad as the 3-4 episode hyped up attorney general. Almost no explanation on that character’s disappearance.”

That brings us to taking a look at a few other characters that have seemingly “disappeared.”

More Missing ‘Yellowstone’ Characters

Take this attorney general for example. Cassidy Reid, played by Kelly Rohrbach, is asked by John to step-in and run for Montana AG after he’s not able to get ahold of his son, Jamie, in an immediate situation. Reid sticks around for a couple of episodes and then she “gets a call.” The call is from the President himself promoting the young woman to the deputy attorney general of the United States.

Then there’s Avery, the female wrangler. John asks his right-hand man, Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) about a female being in the bunkhouse. However, Rip assures him that she’s a hard worker. But after a couple of episodes, and a love interest in fellow wrangler, Jimmy Hurdstrom (Jefferson White), the cowgirl packs her bags and leaves. She simply exits the plotline, never to be spoken of again.

These characters might be missing, but read more about some of the ones that are still around (for now at least), like Rip, Kayce, and Beth Dutton.
