“Yellowstone” actress Jen Landon may have been a city girl when she joined the cast of the hit Paramount Network series. But she took to the cowgirl lifestyle effortlessly, judging by the new horseback pictures and videos she posted to Instagram.
“I recently took a road trip to Valle de Guadalupe and I can’t recommend it enough,” Landon posted to Instagram on Sunday. “I went for the food and wine, but while I was there I was lucky enough to go riding with @bajabyhorse and had one of the most exciting and memorable rides of my life. Her horses are phenomenal!”
Does Teeter Make It to Season 5 of ‘Yellowstone’?
The top comment on Landon’s post was from none other than Beth Dutton actress Kelly Reilly. “Miss you!!” Reilly wrote in response to Landon’s pictures and videos.
The cast of “Yellowstone” is supposed to be filming Season 5 by now. So does Reilly’s comment – and Landon’s freedom to take a road trip – mean that Teeter didn’t make it back for Season 5?
In a March interview, Rip Wheeler actor Cole Hauser said that series co-creator Taylor Sheridan was at that point working on the scripts. Hauser said they planned to be back in Montana shooting “sometime in July.”
So with Season 5 filming scheduled to begin sometime last month, one would expect the entire cast of “Yellowstone” to be in Montana right now, together.
Would Sheridan really get rid of a fan favorite character? Or is Teeter only appearing in certain episodes, leaving Landon at loose ends for part of the season?
Jen Landon Sounds Off on Norwegian Women’s Beach Handball Controversy
Landon mostly posts to Instagram about her work. But she does occasionally find time for recreational posts – as with her horseback riding vacation – or current events commentary. For example, Landon posted about the latter recently after the Norwegian women’s beach handball team was fined for refusing to wear bikini bottoms in the Euro 2021 tournament.
The Norwegian women instead wore elastic shorts to their game against Spain. They got a $1,700 fine for making that stand.
On Instagram, Landon posted a screenshot of a news story explaining the controversy. She added the observation, “Well this is INSANE.”
“In case you missed this insanity, I guess picking a wedgie out of your butt rack during game time is essential to pro volleyball according to the league,” Landon added.
The actress clearly takes a no-nonsense approach to women’s beach handball. And that’s not so different from her character’s take-no-guff attitude on “Yellowstone.” It’s one more thing, in addition to her horseback skills, that Landon has in common with Teeter.
