The wait for new episodes of Paramount Network’s “Yellowstone” is grueling for fans eagerly awaiting its return.
Among those numerous fans ready for their favorite show to return is country music group Old Dominion. The country super group has risen sharply up the country music ranks in the last few years. With songs like “Break Up With Him” and “Snapback,” the group has won several awards.
They also appear to be big fans of the modern western television series. On Wednesday, the group took to social media to tell Yellowstone fans they are not alone in wishing for the show’s return.
The short video clip features a man in a cowboy hat sipping his coffee and appearing flustered at the slow-moving time. The video proclaims the cowboy is “Waiting on season 4 of Yellowstone.”
It is indeed how many Yellowstone followers feel at the moment as the wait for new episodes rolls on. Paramount Network officials say they are aiming for a summer return for the show. Though an exact date is not yet specified, many point to the month of June as a potential starting time.
The Instagram video also asks fans of Yellowstone to show their support by adding a “like” or dropping a cowboy emoji into the comments section. As of Wednesday morning, the post had more than 25,000 “likes,” including one very special one.
Yellowstone Star Chimes in on Show’s Return
Yellowstone star Kevin Costner was among the thousands of social media users to tap the “like” button. Using the Instagram page for his band, Kevin Costner and Modern West, the Hollywood leading man claims he is also excited for the show’s return.
On Yellowstone, Costner plays John Dutton, patriarch of the powerful Montana ranching Dutton family. John’s fate for season four is very much up in the air as we head into the fourth season. The third season ends with a huge cliffhanger that sees John and his two children, Kayce and Beth, come under siege from unknown attackers. The fourth season action is likely to revolve around revealing who is behind the attacks and how the Duttons will respond.
With season four growing ever closer, the wait for Yellowstone answers isn’t that far away.
