Yellowstone character Jamie Dutton may spend the rest of his life alone, but actor Wes Bentley is happily married.

In the hit western drama series Yellowstone, Jamie Dutton is a loner. The one girl he finally gets into a relationship with is his manipulative campaign manager that later baby traps him. Regardless, Jamie goes on to screw it up, however, the death of that toxic relationship may be for the best.

Wes Bentley, the actor who portrays Jamie, isn’t nearly as snakey and is actually capable of maintaining a relationship, even if it’s not on the first try.

Although it hasn’t been smooth sailing. Wes Bentley opened up to Amo Mama about his struggle with both cocaine and heroin use. In addition, Bentley was in “serious debt” due to unpaid credit cards.

The 42-year-old actor actually has walked down the aisle not once but twice. Wes Bentley was first married to actress Jennifer Quanz from 2001 until they split in 2006. They finalized their divorce in 2009 due to Bentley’s struggles.

Thankfully, Wes Bentley sought out help for his addiction and went to rehab twice.

Wes Bentley Marries Jacqui Swedberg

A year after the split, Wes Bentley married another actress, Jacqui Swedberg, in April 2010. This is Jacqui Swedberg’s first marriage.

Swedberg is a TV producer known for her work on the comedy series Corner Gas for two years. She also has worked as the assistant director for a number of movies and TV shows, including Lullaby for Pi in 2010, Sleepwalking in 2009, and Prairie Giant: The Tommy Douglas Story in 2006.

While most of the couples private life has been kept out of the spotlight, reports say that Wes Bentley and Jacqui Swedberg started dating in 2008.

In late 2010, the same year the couple got hitched, they welcomed their first child, Charles, to the family.

Four years later, in June of 2014, Bentley and Swedberg had another child, this time a girl named Brooklyn.

“According to Bentley, his children are the ones who put his life into perspective as whenever he feels stressed, he remembers he’s doing everything for them, and it lightens his heart.”

He says that being a father has actually helped his career by making him a better actor.

You would never guess Bentley was a father by watching Jamie Dutton on Yellowstone, however.
