The trailer for the upcoming new season of the hit Paramount Network series “Yellowstone” is out and fans simply cannot stop talking about it.

If you are a true “Yellowstone” fan, you have likely watched the season four trailer dozens of times. You’ve probably watched it all through backward and forward, in slow motion and in freeze-frame shots. You might even be watching it right now. But, since we are going to be talking about it for a long, long time — let’s watch it right here one more time.

The trailer is a shot of pure adrenaline into the hearts of “Yellowstone” fans and our excitement is at an all-time high. We are still a little over two months away from the November 7 premiere date but that just gives us more time to discuss it. The one-minute and 14-seconds long trailer is full of breathtaking and heart-pounding action. We see several of our favorite characters in the trailers and they all appear ready to defend what is rightfully theirs. It’s clear from the brief video that the Duttons and their allies will be fighting for their lives in season four. We wouldn’t expect anything less from “Yellowstone.”

‘Yellowstone’ Fans Warn Against Overanalyzing

Is it possible to read too deeply or over-analyze the “Yellowstone” season four trailer? The short answer to this question is yes and fans should be careful when basing theories on a minute-long trailer. A recent thread on Reddit cautions “Yellowstone” fans on overreacting to the first footage of season four.

“Plenty of people are already over-analyzing the season 4 trailer,” a Reddit user and “Yellowstone” fan says. “One thing I noticed is that many people are assuming that all these clips are all from season four episode one and deal with the aftermath of the attack.”

This “Yellowstone” makes a fair point. Fans should not make the assumption that the entirety of the trailer is scenes from the first episode of season four.

“We know for sure that Rip finds John and gets him to help,” the Redditor continues. “We even see a clip of a truck hitting a similar van that was at the shooting. Speculation is fun, but nothing is certain until the episode airs.”

All very solid points brought up by the “Yellowstone” fan and plenty of other Redditors agree with his assessment.

“The trailer definitely has too many issues to be covered in just one episode,” another Reddit user says. “They’ll play out over some of the season, but I don’t think they cover the entire season either.”

The fourth season of “Yellowstone” will arrive on November 7. Until then, all we have is speculation and theories. Fear not though “Yellowstone” fans — answers to our burning questions are coming soon.
