‘Yellowstone’ TV Star Hassie Harrison Looks Nothing Like Her Cowgirl Character ‘Laramie’ in New Pic

As “Yellowstone” fans, we are all used to seeing Hassie Harrison, who plays Laramie the barrel racer, kicking it on the Dutton Ranch with Jimmy and Mia. But in her latest post, she is ditching the cowgirl look completely.

Hassie Harrison has traded in her cowboy hat and jeans for a more sophisticated look. At first glance, Harrison is unrecognizable. Maybe it’s the way she has her defined jawline angled or her hair that covers one of her eyes that are lined heavily with black eyeliner.

But, the same way Harrison threw us for a loop with the new look, she also kept her fans on their toes with the caption. “Sending me music you’d think I like is honestly my love language,” she writes.

In only moments after, posting a number of Harrison’s fans flooded the comments section to shower the post with love for her new look.

“Same! Let me burn you a CD guuurl,” and “Goddess” are just a couple of the comments.

Hassie Harrison on Her ‘Yellowstone’ Role

Hassie Harrison joined the cast of “Yellowstone” in 2020 as the rough-and-tumble barrel racer, Laramie. She doesn’t care what people think, especially when she starts hanging around with Lloyd Pearce (Forrie J. Smith), who is more than 30-years her senior.

Harrison shared her thoughts on her character’s relationship that bucks the social norms.

“I don’t think Laramie sees age,” she says. This not only catches her on-screen love interest off-guard but also everyone else around them as well. “I think she definitely sees his soul,” Harrison says on her character’s relationship with Lloyd. “She kind of clocks that he’s the alpha in the room, and that’s who she wants to be saddled up to.”

Harrison shares with Bello Magazine what her overall experience has been like on the set of “Yellowstone.”

“It’s been incredible. Taylor Sheridan is truly gifted on so many levels. His vision for the world of Yellowstone is so clear and precise which makes the experience of acting in it, that much richer,” she tells the publication. “It’s an honor to be involved in and privy to his process. My fellow actors are so talented; they have really raised the bar for me.  I am doing my best to rise to the occasion. The cast and crew are all warm, hardworking and lovely people and I’ve learned a lot from them.  Yellowstone has changed me both personally and professionally.  I am forever grateful.”

Harrison is Happy to Return to Texas Roots

While she is a rising star on “Yellowstone,” the Paramount Series is far from Hassie Harrison’s first project. She started on a show called “Hart of Dixie” in addition to several other projects. However, she explains why the western drama series is different for her.

“Yellowstone is my first Western and let’s just say this Texan is over the moon about it,” she explains. “Not to mention, the production value of this show is extraordinary. Each episode is shot like a movie. That’s a really special thing to be a part of in this day and age. We also go through Cowboy Camp as part of our training, which feels like a return to my childhood. I love being able to ride horses all day and dig deeper into my Western roots.”
