Jen Landon, who plays Teeter on “Yellowstone,” shared a pretty epic Mother’s Day video of her mom Cindy, widow of actor Michael Landon.

The video, which she posted on her Instagram account, shows Cindy Landon getting in her reps during a workout. Now Jen jokes about her mom a bit in the written area of the IG post. Take a look at what she shared with the world on Mother’s Day.

Cindy Landon was born on Jan. 27, 1957, in Los Angeles. At 64 years old, it appears that she’s taking good care of herself. Cindy is a film producer who has overseen “After Kony: Staging Hope” in 2011, “Sanctuary” in 2016, and “The Game Changers” in 2018.

She was married to Michael Landon from 1983 until his death in 1991. Jen is the only child from Cindy and Michael’s marriage. Cindy met Michael on the set of “Little House on the Prairie” where she was a makeup artist.

Jen Landon paid the ultimate tribute to her mother with this video. Apparently, her mom is definitely one of her heroes in the “Yellowstone” star’s life.

‘Yellowstone’ Actor Felt She Was Having Wild Experience At National Park

Living near Yellowstone National Park and being a star on a TV show called “Yellowstone” might seem weird. But Jen Landon has that weirdness beaten by an experience from her life.

At one point, Landon, who plays Teeter, once lived near the park. Landon opened up about her “early mid-life crisis” out west during a 2020 interview on Jeffrey K. Howard’s YouTube channel, Vegas Film Critic.

“I lived up, just forty minutes north of Yellowstone National Park back in like 2000, I don’t know 13,” Landon said. “I went through like an early mid-life crisis – I went through like a quarter-life crisis and went for like a walkabout, and I ended up on a ranch down in Paradise Valley. And I think I thought I was hallucinating when I went to Yellowstone National Park for the first time.”

But this experience provided her some way to navigate through life. She almost gave up acting, though, at one point.

Landon Considered Leaving Show Business After Her Audition For Show

Landon thought she wouldn’t get the part. She admitted in an interview for “Stories From The Bunkhouse” that the poor audition almost sent her away from acting.

The interview features her talking with other “Yellowstone” actors about playing Teeter. Landon said her audition went so bad that she immediately called her agent with the intention to quit acting.

“They called me in, I was super nervous and I didn’t think I was gonna get it, at all,” she says, according to Express. “I thought I tanked the audition. Apparently, I did not, but I thought I tanked it so hard.”

How bad was it according to Landon? Well, she said that she had the casting associate read the scene as part of her audition.

Good for Landon that she totally didn’t leave the world of acting. She ended up getting the role of Teeter and has an integral part in this popular series.
