‘Yellowstone’ TV Star Ryan Bingham Says The Montana Landscape Will ‘Change You Forever

With a massive fan base that is seemingly growing by the day, Paramount Network series “Yellowstone” has something for everyone.

There are sorts of reasons to watch the modern western drama series as it combines several cinematic elements. Some fans enjoy the show for its wide range of characters and a terrific cast. Others enjoy the suspense and intense drama that the show brings on a weekly basis. Some fans love the way the show depicts the modern western ranch lifestyle with Yellowstone Ranch. There is certainly no wrong reason to love “Yellowstone” and the entertainment it provides to millions of watchers.

One of the more underrated aspects of “Yellowstone” is the setting in which it takes place. The show is set in a mountainous region of the state of Montana. You couldn’t ask for a more picturesque landscape to set a western-theme show about the ranching lifestyle. Beautiful mountains spring up all across the background as characters in the forefront carry on a conversation. The set is also littered with breathtaking streams, creeks, and other large bodies of water. Numerous cast members have gone out of their way to comment on just how beautiful their Montana location is.

One actor, Ryan Bingham, went as far as to say that the Montana landscape will “change you forever.” In a 2019 video piece from the Paramount Network, Bingham discusses his fondness for the state’s natural resources and how it distinguishes the “Yellowstone” set.

“Once these mountains get into your blood — it changes you forever,” he says. “The main things I think of when I think about Montana and the Northwest are the forest, the mountains and the wildlife.”

Bingham, who plays singing “Yellowstone” ranch hand Walker, says the mountains of Montana provide comfort to the soul. He says the region can easily be someone’s “happy place” if they allow it to be.

“You have a lot of room up here to breathe and a lot of room for imagination,” he continues.

The mountains of Montana are indeed pristine, as is the rest of the great outdoors in Montana. It really adds another great layer to an already great show that prides itself in examining the “cowboy culture.”

Bingham and the rest of the “Yellowstone” cast are practically finished with season four filming though a few touch-ups are still being worked on. The new season will premiere later this year as the fall season rolls up. There isn’t an exact date for the premiere of new episodes but that hasn’t stopped fans from boosting their excitement levels.

Bingham’s character, Walker, figures to be a big part of season four. The troubled ranch hand was taken in by the Dutton family after his release from prison. Never one to shy away from trouble, fans can’t wait to see what the new season has in store for Walker.
