Brace your heart. Yellowstone star Brecken Merrill and the young man behind Tate Dutton just uploaded the cutest photo we’ve seen all day.

For those who don’t keep up with Merrill and all things Yellowstone quite like your friends at Outsider, the youngster recently got a puppy. Considering how awesome Merrill and the character Tate is, it’s just an inherently awesome development.

And, like we needed any more reason to love the dog, it’s name is Betty White. It really doesn’t get much better than that.

Over the past couple months, the pup has been all over Merrill’s Instagram page. Considering there’s upwards of 10 photos of Parson Russell Terrier, there’s competition for which post is best.

But we believe that Merrill may have just outdone himself with his latest post. On Saturday, March 20, he posted the photo below on Instagram.

You have got to be kidding me. A lad pushing his puppy in a stroller? That’s an all-time picture.

The Yellowstone actor adds a caption as well that clears up exactly why he’s pushing a puppy in a stroller.

“17 more days until Betty can actually walk on our family walks!”

Count ’em down, folks.

Yellowstone Star Brecken Merrill Names His Dog

When Brecken Merrill first announced they had gotten the dog, his family apparently had a hard time deciding on the name. We can’t blame him, the naming of a new family member is a big task.

However, after some time, Merrill came to Instagram to “officially” announce his buddy’s name. The Yellowstone star posted on Instagram on February 16 to share the news. You can view the post here.

He detailed in the caption:

“Introducing California Surfer Betty (we call her Betty White 😁),” Merrill wrote. “She’s fancy. She’s strong willed. There’s a 99.9% chance she will keep the whole house up tonight and for the foreseeable future 😳😬”

Well, we hope that in the weeks since, the Merrills have been able to get some rest.
