‘Yellowstone’ TV: Teeter Actress Jen Landon Thought She Was ‘Hallucinating’ First Time She Saw Yellowstone National Park

It doesn’t matter who you are. The beauty of Yellowstone National Park will take your breath away, or in Jen Landon’s case, make you “hallucinate.”

Well, not really, but she thought she was hallucinating.

Yellowstone National Park is roughly 3,500 square miles of stunning scenery spanning from Wyoming to Montana to Idaho. Although the park is predominantly located in Wyoming, with 96 percent of it the cowboy state, people can see its beautiful views throughout all three states.

Every year nearly 4.3 million people travel from far and wide to see the national park, which consists of booming wildlife and dramatic landscapes. Some of these formations include “dramatic canyons, alpine rivers, lush forests, hot springs and gushing geysers, including its most famous, Old Faithful.”

As we said, Yellowstone is a must-see destination.

Jen Landon, the actress who plays Teeter, once lived nearby, and despite her constant exposure to the mountain, they never failed to surprise her with beauty.

In an interview from 2020 for Jeffrey K. Howard’s Youtube channel, Vegas Film Critic, Jen Landon opened up about her “early mid-life crisis” out west.

“I lived up, just forty minutes north of Yellowstone National Park back in like 2000, I don’t know 13. I went through like an early mid-life crisis– I went through like a quarter-life crisis and went for like a walkabout, and I ended up on a ranch down in Paradise Valley, and I think I thought I was hallucinating when I went to Yellowstone National Park for the first time.”

Jen Landon Loves Both Yellowstones

Finally, the 37-year-old California native says something that hits close to home, and we couldn’t agree with more.

“It’s unbelievable. I always feel like I’m going to get in trouble when I say this, but Montana is my favorite state. Sorry, California.”

#TeamMontana all the way, baby! Give us the outdoors and some space and we are set for life.

Currently, Jen Landon has found herself back on Yellowstone’s doorstep both in real life and on the show.

According to an article from The Pioneer Woman, “The ‘Yellowstone’ cast also spends time in Montana to film on a real-life ranch. The Dutton family’s gorgeous log cabin is actually a 5,000-square foot mansion located on Chief Joseph Ranch near Darby, Montana—and it’s just as beautiful as it looks on TV.”

Oh, we can only imagine. But, hey, if Yellowstone National Park seems too mainstream, you can choose between eight other national parks in the Big Sky State.

I personally recommend Glacier National Park. However, you really cannot go wrong.
