‘Yellowstone’ TV: ‘We Love Kevin Costner Marathon’ Kicking Off This Weekend, How to Watch

This weekend, “Yellowstone” fans can catch a Kevin Costner marathon. It starts on Saturday at 12 p.m. ET on the Paramount Network.

The @Yellowstone Twitter account announced the marathon with a video montage.

“This Valentine’s Day weekend, enjoy the gift of Kevin Costner,” an announcer declares during the montage. “Share some Dutton love with all three seasons of ‘Yellowstone.’ Plus, ‘Draft Day’ and ‘The Guardian.’ The We Love Kevin Costner Marathon starts Saturday and continues all weekend, on Paramount Network.”

“Two movies AND all three seasons of #YellowstoneTV?” @Yellowstone tweeted. “We know exactly what you want this weekend. The We Love Kevin Costner Marathon begins on Saturday at 12pm ET, only on @ParamountNet.” The tweet also tagged Costner, @modernwest.

Marathon Available Via Streaming or Cable

Paramount is available to stream over Hulu for $5.99 a month. There are other streaming options as well, including Philo and fuboTV.

The network’s content is also viewable through cable providers. These include AT&T, Cox, DirecTV, Dish, Frontier,  Optimum, Spectrum, SuddenLink, Verizon, Xtream and YouTube TV.

Meanwhile, Paramount is about to launch its own streaming service, Paramount+, this upcoming March. The service will feature content from CBS, Viacom and Paramount, USA Today reported.

“With Paramount+, we’re excited to establish one global streaming brand in the broad-pay segment,” said Bob Bakish, president and CEO of ViacomCBS. “[It] will draw on the sheer breadth and depth of the ViacomCBS portfolio to offer an extraordinary collection of content for everyone to enjoy.”

Everybody Loves Kevin Costner on ‘Yellowstone’

In “Yellowstone,” Costner stars as John Dutton. He’s the patriarch of the Dutton clan and the embattled owner of the largest contiguous ranch in the United States.

Costner told Gold Derby last summer that he believes in “Yellowstone,” a compelling Western that doesn’t insult its audience. And he said he can see the appeal of a character like Dutton. The blunt rancher often takes matters into his own hands, to the distress of his Harvard-trained lawyer son Jamie (Wes Bentley).

“Maybe we want to vicariously live through the days where we’d like to arbitrate our own problems instead of like when… you have to call a lawyer,” Costner said. “You would like to handle it. But you’ve got to call a lawyer or call an agent or a PR person. And I think there’s something in us that deep down we would love to be able to sometimes have the satisfaction of arbitrating our own problems. Without people knowing it, they tie in a little bit to that taking a level of justice. Or what they perceive as justice.”

So “Yellowstone” fans who are jonesing for Season 4 of the show to begin can content themselves with an epic Kevin Costner marathon in the meantime.

Costner has said he tries to put the audience on his shoulder when he decides on a potential project, so it’s a safe bet the two films in the marathon also feature characters that Costner believed in.
