With an all-star cast headed up by Kevin Costner, hit Paramount Network series “Yellowstone” has a number of veteran actors.

It is only natural that a few of the actors on “Yellowstone” have worked together before on different shows. This is the case for veteran actors Wes Bentley and Danny Huston. The actors previously worked together on the fourth season of the FX anthology series “American Horror Story.” The fourth season of the hit show is titled “Freak Show”

Much like their characters on “Yellowstone,” Bentley and Huston rarely share the screen together on American Horror Story.

On “Yellowstone,” Bentley plays Jamie Dutton, the adopted son of ranch owner and operator John Dutton (Costner). Jamie’s character arc is one of the most interesting aspects of the show. He goes from a high-ranking Montana attorney to a simple ranch hand to Montana’s Attorney General in a span of three seasons.

‘Yellowstone’s Jamie Dutton Meets Father in Season Three

In season three, Jamie learns that he was adopted by the Dutton family as an infant. He also meets his biological father, Garrett Randall, for the first time. Randall tells Jamie that the only way to overtake an empire is to kill the king. It is likely he is referring to killing John Dutton in order to take control of Yellowstone Ranch.

Danny Huston’s “Yellowstone” character, Dan Jenkins, also has an intriguing storyline as an antagonist in season one. A billionaire, he seeks to take control of the Dutton property to turn it into a resort. In season two, he becomes an ally to the Dutton family as they fight against the Beck brothers. Jenkins is killed by the Beck’s assassin late in season two.

On “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” Bentley plays urban legend Edward Mordake, a man with two faces. Mordrake is a former “freak show” performer who seeks to add freak spirits to his troupe despite being dead for several years. He enlists the services of “Twisty the Clown” before returning in the season finale to claim Elsa Mars, the season’s primary protagonist.

Huston plays Massimo Dolcefino in the series, a carpenter who is able to craft replacement body parts. Dolcefino crafts a set of hands for series protagonist Jimmy “The Lobster Boy” Darling

“Yellowstone” is expecting a summer return for season four.
