Keeping up with Yellowstone like the rest of us Outsiders? Of course you are!
Why else would you be here? And as such, you know what an absolute world-changer the Season 3 finale was for the Duttons. The entire family nearly-to-maybe met their ends – and the perpetrators? We have no idea. Not yet.
While the fate of all the Duttons is in question – fan favorite Dutton daughter, Beth, may just be the biggest question mark of them all.
Just when things are looking up for Beth, tragedy strikes her and her entire family. The strong, sharp-witted woman finally makes her rocky relationship with Rip Wheeler final… only for an explosive package to arrive at her office – and deadly chaos ensues. But is Beth really gone? Would Yellowstone kill off arguably their most popular character with fans just 3 or 4 seasons in?
We may now have our answer. The latest Instagram posts from both Beth’s Kelly Reilly and Rip’s Cole Hauser confirms one thing in absolute: Kelly Reilly is and has been on set in Montana for the filming of Yellowstone Season 4.
The culprit? Both actors are looking to raise awareness for an auction in support of the Careity Foundation. It’s a charity providing care for cancer patients, and both Reilly and Hauser posted big ol’ flyers for the event. Reilly, however, took hers down and deleted it from all platforms. Suspicious, much? Don’t worry, though, Hauser left his up, which you can still see right here:
Did Reilly & Hauser Confirm Beth Dutton’s Fate?
In the least, this confirms Kelly Reilly has been on set in Montana as recently as February 13, 2021. It is, after all, highly unlikely the actress would be in Montana at all amidst COVID-19 restrictions if they did not need her for filming. As such, it’s all but a given at this point that Beth Dutton survived the cataclysmic Season 3 finale.
But what of her fate throughout Season 4? Will Beth make it to another season finale? Honestly, it could go either way.
For our part, however, we think Beth will be around for the long haul. She seems destined to “watch everything she loves die,” and live to suffer through all of it. If anything, this tortured soul will be the last Dutton standing. And recently, Reilly seems to confirm this in a way.
“Yeah, the end of season three is a big cliffhanger,” she says to ScreenRant in a recent interview. “I’m not allowed to really say too much about whether or not I’m part of season four. In fact, I’m not allowed to say anything,” she reveals.
“What I can say is that season four has been shot, and that it’s wonderful what happens. I will say that.”
An interesting turn of phrase, don’t you think, Beth Dutton fans? Reilly isn’t one to pull punches in interviews, much like Beth.
