If you have ever wondered what it is like to live like Yellowstone Ranch owner John Dutton, you just might be in luck.
John Dutton is, of course, the primary antagonist of the hit Paramount Network series “Yellowstone” where he operates the ranch. The “Yellowstone” cowboy is played by iconic Hollywood leading man Kevin Costner.
When he isn’t fighting off enemies who want to take over his property, John Dutton lives a life of luxury. He owns one of the largest ranches in the country, complete with a mansion and several smaller cabins on the property. He and his family even have their own personal cook, Gator, who is ready to whip up a meal at a moment’s notice. While he certainly has his fair share of enemies, it’s good to be John Dutton.
A Wyoming ranch, once belonging to a wealthy Texas oil heiress recently went on the market. The ranch looks like something that would make even John Dutton proud and it can be all yours for only $45 million. Yes, that is an incredibly steep price but the Jackson Hole Property is quite stunning.
The impressive property belonged to the very wealthy Texas oil heiress Anne Windfohr Marion, who passed away just last year at the age of 81. She left behind a great deal of beautiful properties that are now being sold at extremely high prices. Her portfolio of property includes the 146-acre Jackson Hole, Wyoming, ranch that is currently on the market for $45 million.
John Dutton Fans Might Find Wyoming Ranch Appealing
Included with the ranch is an 8,000-square-foot main house that Texas Heiress purchased years ago. The property’s primary housing unit is called The Bar B Bar Ranch and has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The residence offers stunning views of the nearby Grand Teton Mountains and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. It is the part of the ranch where John Dutton would live if he owned it.
Interestingly, another property left behind by Marion is the Four Sixes, a 480,000-acre ranch in Fort Worth, Texas. The Four Sixes Ranch is one of the biggest in all of Texas. It is also expected to provide the backdrop of the upcoming “Yellowstone” spinoff “6666.”
Since its premiere season just a few years ago, “Yellowstone” has shined a light on the western cowboy style culture. Costner’s portrayal of John Dutton is a big reason for that popularity spurt. A lot of “Yellowstone” fans are choosing to spend their vacations on ranch resorts as a result of the show.
“Yellowstone” will return for its fourth season later this year on November 7.
