NASHVILLE, TN. June 14, 2022 – Outsider is announcing today that Lindsey Nance is joining the company as its latest addition to the original content team. Lindsey joins Jay Cutler and Marty Smith as one of Outsider’s multimedia content creators and show hosts.
Nance has been a member of the local cable news WSMV News4 Nashville since 2018 as the Traffic Anchor and has hosted a variety of shows and events in sports and Nashville cultural events.
“We are excited to welcome Lindsey to the Outsider team. Her professionalism and local authenticity got our attention, and her creativity in creating entertaining content and building an engaged social media following are what separates her,” says Deirdre Lester, CEO of Outsider.
“While I enjoyed my time in local news, I’m ready for a change (and an alarm clock that doesn’t go off at 1 am). That’s what led me to Outsider. I’m excited to join Outsider so I can get back to my roots covering sports, entertainment, and lifestyle topics,” says Nance.
At Outsider, Lindsey Nance will be developing original shows and content around Nashville, sports culture, and events. As a Nashville native, she offers an inside scoop of the city and local connections will give Outsider’s Music City content more depth and expertise. Her highly engaged social media audience (on Twitter, Instagram, and Tik Tok) adds to her ability to reach the Outsider demographic quickly and concisely, delivering the news in the most current medium. These content additions will help expand Outsider’s current offering of The Marty Smith Podcast and social media segments from Jay Cutler.
