Things couldn’t get much better right now for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The football team is currently sitting with a pristine 6-0 record and has a strong chance to play for a Big 12 Championship. Evidently, those are good enough reasons for head coach Mike Gundy to bust a move.

That’s right — after an impressive win over the No.25-ranked Texas Longhorns, Gundy and his Oklahoma State players showed off some pretty great dance moves. Now, if you are a wearer of a mullet or you know someone who is, then you likely have heard the phrase, “Business in the front, party in the back.” Well, coach Gundy sports a mullet as well. And after his players took care of business on the field, it was all party back at the locker room.

The official Twitter account for the Cowboys football team posted footage of the head coach dancing online after the game. And let us be the first to say, Mike Gundy has some pretty solid dance moves for being 54-years-old! You can see him dropping it down low, swinging his arms, and swaying his body from side to side.

“You know it was coming. #LetsRide | #GoPokes”

It’s safe to say that everyone who witnessed Mike Gundy’s dance moves on Saturday came away smiling. All of us here at Outsider definitely did. And so did all of Gundy’s players. You can hear them in the video above applauding and cheering on their coach.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma State fans were loving the action as well.

“When you win, you gotta celebrate,” one OSU fan said on Twitter. “Even the coaches love to celebrate.”

“I love it every damn time!!! This team don’t ever give up!” exclaimed another fan

“OSU version of Dancing with the Stars!” another person joked.

Oklahoma State Taking Aim Against Their Next Opponent

The comeback win on Saturday against the Longhorns is one that OSU fans will remember for a long time. After all, it wasn’t looking all that great for the orange and black for most of the game. The Cowboys ended up taking their first lead with only 4:37 remaining in the fourth quarter. They then went on to defeat the Longhorns by scoring 19 unanswered points in the second half.

The No. 12 Oklahoma State Cowboys are now a perfect 6-0. They will continue their run toward a Big 12 Championship appearance next Saturday in a tough matchup against the Iowa State Cyclones in Ames. In the meantime, let’s all make sure we are prepared to see Gundy and his team dancing once more. If the Cowboys come away victorious next weekend, that will be all of the reason he needs to bust out his moves.
