Chad Johnson Loses His Mind During Heated Argument over Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens and Randy Moss

Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson goes crazy during an interview with The Complex Sports Podcast when Adam Caparell compares athletes in the NFL currently to legends like Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, and Randy Moss.

In the interview, host Adam Caparell asks if fans will ever see another player like San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jerry Rice

Chad Johnson looks quizzically as he virtually joins the interview from his vehicle.

“Yeah. Yeah. You are basing every off numbers! I’m talking about talent and gifts!”

Rice has won three Super Bowls, was a Super Bowl MVP, 13 time Pro Bowler, is in the 49s Hall of Fame. The organization has also retired his number. In addition, Rice holds a plethora of records within the NFL.

Caparell disagrees by saying that there are statically comparable players today.

“Numbers matter. There are guys in today’s game that are just as gifted, talentedly, athletically, and in their catch the football if they have the right guy throwing to them, everything working properly. They are on a similar talent level as those legends.”

Chad Johnson cuts him off, stunned by Caparell’s answer.

“Woah, Woah, Woah. Stop. Did you just say there are players today that are just as gifted as Randy Moss and T.O.?”

Randy Moss is widely regarded as one, if not the best wide receiver of all time. He played most of his 14-year career with the Vikings, who drafted him 21st overall in the 1998 draft. Moss holds two records within the NFL and was a six-time Pro Bowler.

Caparell’s answer with a simple, “Of course.”

Chad Johnson Claps Back

Johnson is astounded as he puts his hand on his head.

“Am I being punked? Is Ashton Kutcher about to pop out somewhere? They are two completely different types of skill sets altogether, though. So how are you even comparing the two? You can’t do that. It’s not subjective, it’s common sense if you know that f**king game! Did you hear what Randy Moss said? Numbers aside, I’m going off skill and what you are able to perform.”

Caparell answers with his currently comparable athletes.

“Okay, but if you are going off skill and giftedness, you could put Odell Beckham Jr. and DeAndre Hopkins in that conversation also.”

“Actually, you can,” said Johnson. “But we are talking about two different types of skill sets that obviously you don’t know or understand about if you are trying to compare DeAndre Hopkins and Odell to T.O. and Randy Moss. Are you serious? You just compared DeAndre Hopkins and Odell Beckham to TO and Randy Moss. There are levels and tiers to talent and gifts.”

Caparell goes on the defensive to Chad Johnson.

“I’m not saying their career yet, obviously. I’m saying if we are talking about skill and talent and gifted levels, you can put those individuals up there with the other great individuals.”

After the interview, Adam Caparell quote tweeted the interview with a hilarious caption.
