Cleveland Browns star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is hitting rehab with a purpose. He recently shared a video and photos of him doing some minor exercises.
Beckham tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee on Sunday, Oct. 25 in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The accident happened when he was trying to make a tackle following an. Before the injury, he had 23 receptions for 319 receiving yards and four total touchdowns on the season.
The star wideout underwent successful surgery to repair his ACL on Nov. 10 in Florida. The Browns announced the news of a successful surgery in a statement.
“The surgery was performed early today by Dr. James Andrews at the Andrews Institute for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Pensacola, Florida. Beckham is expected to be ready for the 2021 season.
The official SportsCenter Twitter account posted a video from Beckham’s Instagram page showing him getting in some recent rehab.
“@obj on the comeback grind,” the SportsCenter account wrote.
Odell Beckham Jr. Breaks Silence Following ACL Surgery
Beckham’s comments came five days after suffering the season-ending injury.
The receiver is no doubt emotional about his recent injury. Beckham makes his first comment about the incident with a message released via social media.
According to ProFootball Talk on NBCSports.com, Odell Beckham Jr.’s message reads,
“I just wanna thank you all for Checkin on me… this is tough really — tough, I really don’t have many words right now definitely not the right ones at least. I couldn’t tell u why this happened, this one doesn’t make much sense, it’s not for me to question, but I believe God truly has a plan and is using me for it. A ton of emotions flowing.. just takin some ME time, some time to heal. Thank u all for the Luv… be back soon.”

After getting out of surgery with a repaired ligament in his left knee, he let his fans know he was doing well by posting a photo of himself after the procedure.
Beckham told his followers, “Sit back and relax n watch how God work … Now let the journey begin.
