NASCAR Cup Series driver Clint Bowyer went into detail on Twitter about how his racing career has come full circle leading up to the last race of his career.
Bowyer is the driver of the No. 14 Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing. Bowyer’s racing team sent out a tweet to fans letting them know about how the driver’s career is coming full circle.
“It’s funny, the way the schedule has worked out. Phoenix will be the place of my first and last start.”
“Heading back to where it all began. @ClintBowyer hopes to cap off his #NASCAR career by taking the @RushTruckCenter Mustang to victory lane.” Stewart-Haas Racing tweeted.
Bowyer responded to his racing team. He quoted their tweet, saying “True! RC sent me out there to run a West race for @BMR_NASCAR. Was my first race as an @RCRracing employee. Very proud moment for me!!”
Meanwhile, Bowyer announced earlier this that he would be stepping away from the driver’s seat next season and joining the broadcast booth. He will be working alongside Jeff Gordon and Mike Joy for Fox Sports.
All in all, Clint Bowyer has 10 career cup wins. His best finish was in 2012 when placing second overall. Since then, he’s made the playoffs in each of the past three seasons. At the same time, he’s had an increasing role in television coverage of his sport. For Fox Sports, Bowyer became an in-studio analyst. He also was participating in their iRacing events.

The soon-to-retire NASCAR legend is letting his fans know that he has voted – and that they should do the same.
Taking to his Twitter account, Bowyer shared a closeup of himself with his “I Voted” sticker. His, however, has an extra message.
“I Voted,” the sticker says. Following, it asks “Did You?”
With this – and his steely stare – Bowyer is certainly urging his fans and followers to do the same.
