Friday is here! The weekend is upon us! And, “Jeopardy!” guest host Aaron Rodgers is sharing his well-wishes with fans via social media!

On Friday (April 9), the official Twitter account of the popular quiz show showed a photo of a playful Rodgers from the set. He’s holding a card labeled “Final Jeopardy!” in front of his face. However, you can tell that he is smiling from ear to ear behind the card.

Along with the photo, there was the message, “Friday already? Let’s make it a fun one, @AaronRodgers12!” You can check out the tweet below.

The fun Friday salute comes as the Green Bay Packers quarterback reaches the end of his first week as guest host of “Jeopardy!” He began his very brief tenure as the man behind former host Alex Trebek’s podium on Monday (April 5).

Fans Pleased with Aaron Rodgers as Guest Host of ‘Jeopardy!’

Judging by some of the comments made to the quiz show’s tweet on Friday, fans are pretty pleased with how Rodgers has performed as guest host.

“Job is to not take attention away from the questions or the contestants, and he’s got overwhelming support so far. He’s the 1st or 2nd best guest host by the majority currently,” one fan said.

@Jeopardy contestants should be the stars while the host shines a light on them, and I love how @AaronRodgers12 lets the show be about the contestants,” another shared.

“I’m thoroughly enjoying Aaron’s guest hosting. Hope he is too. Good job,” one fan posted.

Rodgers even received a positive review from the fan of one of his Green Bay Packers’ most hated opponents – the Chicago Bears.

“Even though I’m a Bears fan I have to admit Aaron F. Rodgers has been pretty good. …”

NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers is now part of a select group of individuals who have served as guest hosts of “Jeopardy!” since the death of longtime host Alex Trebek in November 2020.

Before Rodgers, the list of guest hosts included “Jeopardy!” champion Ken Jennings, the show’s executive producer Mike Richards, Katie Couric, and Dr. Mehmet Oz.

According to the show’s website, other guest hosts are slated to stand behind Trebek’s podium during the coming months. These include Anderson Cooper, Bill Whitaker, Mayim Bialik, Savannah Guthrie, and Dr. Sanjay Gupta.

Cooper is slated to take over hosting duties from Rodgers. His time on the show will run from April 19 until April 30. Whitaker will host from May 3 until May 14. Bialik will host from May 31 until June 11. The dates for Guthrie’s and Gupta’s hosting duties were not posted on the show’s website as of April 9.

To make things even better, the show is donating the cumulative winnings of contestants during each host’s time on the show to the host’s charity of choice. For example, the money during Rodgers’ time will be donated to the North Valley Community Foundation in California.
