Johnny Manziel Trolls Browns After Loss to Chiefs and Cleveland Fans Clap Back

Following the Cleveland Browns playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, quarterback Johnny Manziel seemed to troll his former team.

During Manziel’s infamously short NFL career, he played for the Browns for two seasons from 2014-2015. The quarterback became more notable for his partying than he ever did for his play on the gridiron. During his two seasons, Manziel started eight games, and earned a paltry 2-6 record.

Cleveland released Manziel before the 2016 season began. The Texas A&M product attempted multiple NFL comebacks. He played in the Canadian Football League for a couple of seasons and two games in the Alliance of American Football. However, he never did make it back to the NFL.

Manziel has obviously not let bygones be bygones when it comes to his early exit from the Browns. The former Cleveland QB posted a funny GIF of Stephen A. Smith that seemingly mocked the Browns’ loss to the Chiefs. Needless to say, Cleveland’s fans had plenty to say to Manziel following his tweet.

Johnny Manziel Destroyed by Cleveland Browns Fans on Twitter

Multiple fans went at Johnny Manziel on social media for his mocking tweet of Cleveland’s playoff loss. Most couldn’t understand why he’d even comment considering the team is in the playoffs, something Manziel never came close to while on the Browns.

“I don’t think I’d ever live to see Johnny Manziel trolling the browns lose a close playoff game when buddy couldn’t even remember the plays. Laughable content right here my guy,” one Twitter user responded to Manziel’s post.

“Looks like you haven’t changed much but we love this #Browns team and our QB! What team do you play for now?” another Browns fan commented.

“Just when you thought the night couldn’t get more weird Johnny Manziel starts tweeting,” a third fan tweeted.

Yet, Manziel wasn’t done just yet. He continued to tweet in defense of his original post.

The former Browns quarterback did himself no favors with his additional Twitter posts. Fans seemed to double down on their criticisms of Manziel.

“You were a bust. They barely lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs to the defending champions. Who failed more?” one Twitter user said to Manziel.

“Can’t wait to see you go bankrupt lol,” another responded to the quarterback‘s tweet.

“Bruh you don’t have a job. You’ll be boxing YouTubers for a paycheck within a year,” a fan amusingly tweeted back.

Browns fans didn’t let up on their former quarterback and are still going at it on Twitter. If anything, Manziel continues to live up to his controversial name.
