Amid the ongoing drama with the Packers, Aaron Rodgers looks to be having a grand ole’ time at this year’s Kentucky Derby. Earlier on Saturday, Aaron Rogers and his fiancée, Shailene Woodley, were spotted at the 147th Running of the Roses. The Kentucky Derby takes place at the Churchill Downs racecourse in Louisville, KY.

In photos, users can see Rodgers to the far left wearing a dapper hat with a beaming smile. Standing beside him in coral is his bride-to-be. Filling out the rest of the group are a handful of his fellow Packers.

At first glance, it’s obvious both Woodley and Rodgers came to win when it comes to their hat game. However, most people are buzzing that Rodgers is there with some of his teammates after rumors circulated that Rodgers has had a far from pleasant experience interacting with upper management of the team in recent weeks.

If Rodgers is looking for any advice on making an amicable exit from the team, Rodgers could track down NFL superstar Tom Brady. Brady is also in attendance at today’s fastest two minutes in sport’s history.

Aaron Rodgers Spotted at Derby Despite Packer’s Fallout

After taking in the photos of Rodgers’ legendary hat, it seems like he’s playing nice with teammates despite the rumblings about him being unhappy. On Thursday, ESPN reporter Adam Schefter left NFL fans’ jaws dropped with a bombshell report. He described that Rodgers has become “so disgruntled” with the Green Bay Packers that he no longer wants to return.

Amid this year’s NFL draft, the quarterback has reportedly named several teams as his preferred choices. Those teams include the San Francisco 49ers, the Denver Broncos, and the Las Vegas Raiders.

However, it looks like his team isn’t quite ready for a breakup. Which makes sense, considering Rodgers became the Packers’ sled the Packers to a victory in Super Bowl XLV over the Pittsburgh Steelers, earning the titles as Super Bowl MVP. According to reporting from Schefter, the Packer’s manager is doubling down on their intent to keep Rodgers in Wisconson.

“As we’ve stated since the season ended, we are committed to Aaron in 2021 and beyond,” Gutekunst told ESPN. “Aaron has been a vital part of our success and we look forward to competing for another championship with him leading our team.”

Schefter also added that Rodgers wasn’t with the Packers drafting QB Jordan Love last year.
