LeBron James Shouts Out Cleveland Browns After Improving to 8-3 with Win over Jacksonville Jaguars

On Sunday, the Cleveland Browns beat the Jacksonville Jaguars in a nail biter. Lebron James, in his spare time, is an avid Browns fan.

The Browns won the game 27-25. Despite being without star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., the Browns seem to be just fine. Baker Mayfield played well enough to beat the lowly Jaguars.

Clearly excited about the win, James took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the win.

“8-3! Keep going!! #Browns @Browns

James is outspoken in his support of the Browns. James grew up in Akron, Ohio, and played two stints for the Cleveland Cavaliers. It is no secret where his NFL allegiances lie. The Cleveland Browns even took note of the superstar’s tweet and responded to him.

Indeed, Cleveland is excited about improving to 8-3 on the season. For the first time since 1994, the Browns are 8-3. Additionally, the Browns are above .500 on the season for the first time since 2007.

James Always Supports the Hometown Team

One fan in particular perfectly utilizes a SpongeBob Squarepants gif to celebrate the win.

James wasn’t the only basketball star to congratulate the Browns on their latest win. CJ McCollum shares that he is super excited to be a Browns fan.

“My Cleveland Browns are 8-3, who would’ve thought. Feels good to be a Browns fan. #DawgPound #Playoffs. I don’t think we’ve been 8-3 in my lifetime.”

Although James distributes his support around the NFL, he is steadfast in his love for the Browns. This is not the first time he has taken to Twitter to express his happiness with the Cleveland Browns. In fact, during the game, Jarvis Landry made a big play to score a touchdown, and James shared his excitement.

James undoubtedly is excited at the prospect of the Browns getting in the NFL playoffs for the first time in a long while.
