First Look at LeBron James in ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ Revealed

Lebron James and Disney have been stoking the “Space Jam: A New Legacy” movie for a while now. Recently, they released pictures of the jerseys that the Tunes Squad will wear during the movie.

Like it or not, this movie is shaping up to be a blockbuster of epic proportions. Even with the pandemic still dampening movie theaters’ attendances, Disney is pushing forward with its release date. The movie is set to premiere on July 16 of this year.

Moreover, Disney, today, released the film poster and a sneak peek for Lebron James in “Space Jam: A New Legacy.” The poster is awesome, and the sneak peek at the movie is even better.

Space Jam fans don’t have to wait any longer for their first look at footage from the much-anticipated follow-up starring LeBron James.

On Saturday, January 16, HBO Max shared a new teaser for the film. In brief summation, it is an exciting look at the live-action/animation movie hybrid.

In the teaser, there is a short moment shown where Lebron James and Bugs Bunny stare horrified at something. That something seems to be another character being lifted by a light beam into an overhead scoreboard. Certainly, there is more to the scoreboard than meets the eye.

Lebron James’ “Space Jam: A New Legacy” Sneak Peek

Because of the last movie, the assumption is that the sneak peek features the same villains, the Montars. But, that might not be the case. In a recent interview, Lebron James explains that their competition will simply be from extraterrestrial beings.

Lebron James also says that the film will be about a father and son relationship. Moreover, he says that the movie will be about beings from another world, not the Monstars.

“You can call them that. They have a different name. I won’t give the name. But it’s more of a family movie. It’s a parenting movie between me and my son, and me trying to demand my son to do something because I was taught that way growing up. Demand my son to play basketball.”

But, Lebron James continues with his statements about the movie. He further clarifies what the movie will be about as well as the relationship between him and his son.

“‘This is what you’re gonna do, this is how you’re gonna do it.’ And me as a parent not listening to my son and not believing in what my son is actually great at. It’s a tackling between me being a parent and supporting my son and my son basically turning off at some point and me trying to regain that trust throughout the movie. Along with the great Bugs Bunny, and Lola, and Taz, and Tweety. All of them.”

So, stay tuned with all of the Space Jam movie happenings to see if you can find out more about the movie.
