Michael Strahan settled claims against his ex-wife that dismissed his allegations that she abused the couple’s twin daughters.
That’s according to the New York Post, which quotes court documents filed in the case.
Strahan, the former NFL star and now a TV personality, made the allegations in February. Filing in a North Carolina court, Strahan alleged that his ex-wife, Jean Strahan, had engaged in a “pattern of abusive contact” with the twins.
He said Jean Strahan was physically and emotionally abusive toward the girls. Specifically, Strahan said his ex-wife had failed to take the twins to court-ordered therapy sessions. Strahan also alleged the twins had missed volleyball matches and failed to show for horseback-riding events.
The daughters, Isabella and Sophia, are 16. They had been living with Jean Strahan in North Carolina.
The case was settled in October. But the settlement didn’t make news until a month later.
According to court documents, the couple will share custody of the girls. Jean Strahan agreed to move to New York. The twins will attend a private high school there until they graduate.

Meanwhile, the Post reports that Jean Strahan’s case against her ex-husband, asking for an increase in child support, still is active. She still says he owes her back child support.
The couple ended their marriage in 2006.
The divorce still is contentious. On Thursday, Jean Strahan filed a petition of contempt against her ex in a Manhattan Supreme Court. She said he is violating parts of a settlement granted in 2009.
Strahan played for the New York Giants for 15 years. He was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 2014.
He’s now a co-host on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” And he spends his Sundays as an analyst for Fox’s NFL studio show.
