‘NASCAR’: Bubba Wallace Shows Off His Parkour Skills in Hilarious Post with ‘The Office’ Reference

NASCAR racer Bubba Wallace joked around recently, saying his leap over a track racing wall was “HARDCORE PARKOUR.”

Wallace’s post got over 2,700 likes at one point.

A few “Office” TV memes followed, and then Jay Pennell challenged Wallace to go to the next level. Pennell posted a stunt move by fellow NASCAR racer Brendan Gaughan.

On Sunday at Indianapolis, the 27-year-old Wallace finished 13th after starting in the 27th spot. A. J. Allmendinger won the event.

Bubba Wallace On The Season

The driver with his new 23XI Racing team has had a struggle this season.

Bubba Wallace is currently 21st in the driver standings. With the playoffs approaching (three races left), his chances aren’t good.

“We all want to win, of course,” Wallace told Sirius XM Radio. “That’s why we’re here. That’s why we show up every week, is to win.”

Wallace went to say there’s been a mix of things in and out of the team’s control that has kept them from good finishes this season. 

The racer says they haven’t had the winning car, but there have been more top-10 moments for the new team. 

Bubba Wallace has just one top-5 and one top-10 finish from his fifth-place run at Pocono Raceway in June.

“We started on page one for 23XI Racing,” Wallace added on the Sirius XM Radio show. “But when you surround yourself with the right team like we have, it makes those situations a little bit easier to navigate through.”

Bubba Wallace Engaged Recently

Fox News reported that the driver recently announced his engagement to his longtime girlfriend, Amanda Carter.

Bubba Wallace took Carter to a waterfall and proposed. The couple’s Aussiedoodle dog named Asher was also there is a photo for the announcement.

Carter, a financial analyst, and Wallace had been dating for five years. The couple has not announced a wedding date.

In light of the news, NASCAR sportscaster Dale Earnhardt Jr. posted three clapping hands emoji. Another sports figure, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray posted “Congrats bro” on the Wallace Tweet.

Bubba Wallace Running At Michigan Xfinity Race

On Monday, Hattori Racing announced that Bubba Wallace would fill in for Austin Hill in the No. 61 Toyota for Saturday’s Xfinity race. 

Hill would have run in Friday’s Camping World Trucks Series race. The move helps hot Hill, who enters the Truck playoffs in second and recent wins at Knoxville and Watkins Glen.

“I’m excited to race again in the Xfinity Series,” Bubba Wallace said in a team release. “Michigan is a track where I’ve run well in the past and even won in the Truck Series.”

Wallace said he was thankful to get extra track time with no practice or qualifying. It’s Wallace’s first Xfinity race since 2017.
