NASCAR: Watch Bubba Wallace’s View of Insane Close Call with Joey Logano Wreck at Talladega GEICO 500

by Quentin Blount

NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace shared his view behind the wheel of when Joey Logano’s No. 22 went airborne over him on Sunday.

Wallace and his fellow NASCAR drivers are fresh off of participating in the Geico 500 at the Talladega Superspeedway. And even though it was Brad Keselowski that took home the victory on Sunday, it was Bubba Wallace who came away with perhaps the most insane footage from the entire race.

There were a number of big-time crashes on Sunday, but seeing Joey Logano’s No. 22 car catching some massive air was without a doubt the craziest. Wallace, along with all of the NASCAR fans who were watching, likely won’t forget what they saw anytime soon.

The driver of the No. 23 Toyota Camry for 23XI Racing posted his look at what happened from behind the wheel. Take a look for yourself down below.

“Alright, these gaming graphics are getting too realistic,” Wallace posted on Twitter.

Crazy, right? Thankfully, both Joey Logano and Bubba Wallace made it out okay. Wallace was able to leave the care center shortly after and Wallace’s Toyota Camry only took slight damage because of the wreck.

And if you are like us, you had to be wondering just how Wallace managed to keep his composure after seeing that happen right before his eyes. Well, he said that he nearly needed a new pair of pants after the race.

“I’m telling you, my underwear is worse than the car right now,” Wallace hilariously told his racing crew.

Bubba Wallace and NASCAR Fans Share Their Thoughts from Sunday’s Race

Despite seeing another driver go airborne over his head, Bubba Wallace was able keep his composure and win Stage 2 at Talladega on Sunday. He says that overall it was a “decent day,” but he is already looking forward to his next Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway.

Meanwhile, Bubba Wallace fans on Twitter were quick to share thoughts on how the driver performed at Talladega. One fan says it was awesome to see him win Stage 2.

“Bro, it was cool to see you out front,” the fan wrote. “You won stage 2!!!! I was super excited to see that Dega is so unpredictable anything can happen. You were aggressive, fast race car, and very little went wrong. A win is coming soon. Can’t wait. Keep going strong.”

Wallace came into the Geico 500 at Talladega on Sunday ranked 20th in the NASCAR Cup Series standings.

Another fan left a message telling Wallace that he gives his fans hope.
