On Sunday, Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield went crazy in the first half throwing four touchdown passes, which tied a 69-year-old team record.

During the Browns Sunday matchup against the Tennessee Titans, Mayfield went off. The quarterback led the Browns to a 38-7 lead headed into the locker room at halftime. Additionally, his four first-half touchdown passes put Cleveland up big on Tennessee early.

Sunday Night Footballs Twitter account shared a highlight of Mayfield’s fourth touchdown pass in the 2nd quarter. Mayfield tossed a 25-yard pass over a Titans defender that landed perfectly over the shoulder of WR Rashard Higgins. The quarterback’s precision pass to the corner of the endzone led to an easy touchdown for the Browns.

“Baker Mayfield is playing out of his MIND! 4 passing TDs in the first half,” SNF‘s account tweeted.

Mayfield’s fourth touchdown pass in the first half put him in rare company. His fourth TD tied a 69-year-old team record owned by legendary Browns QB Otto Graham. The NFL Network‘s Andrew Siciliano pointed out the impressive statistic on his official Twitter account Sunday afternoon.

“Baker Mayfield is the first Browns QB with 4 TD in the first half since Otto Graham – December 2, 1951,” Siciliano tweeted.

Mayfield Talks Missing Throws, Quotes Ron Swanson

Mayfield hasn’t had to worry about missing many important throws today. But, the quotable quarterback touched on his hatred for missed throws last week in an amusing interview segment.

After Sunday’s 27-25 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Browns QB talked to the media. During the interview, he spoke about some of his missed passes. The quarterback said he can’t stand missing a single throw on the field. Also, he somehow found a way to insert a Ron Swanson quote when touching on his frustrations over certain throws.

“Well, I mean, I really feel like we left a lot of points on the board. I truly do. There was a ton of missed opportunities from just my perspective, a lot of missed throws. There’s only two things I hate more than missing throws, and that’s lying and skim milk. And skim milk’s just water lying about being milk. So…gotta make those throws.”
