A Buffalo Bills fan took his immense fandom to new heights this week, taking to the skies to express his love of his favorite team.

The team’s official Twitter site took notice of the pilot’s dedication to their organization.

The tweet reads, “spotted in the sky above buffalo,” and attaches a smiley face with heart eyes emoji to the tweet.

The fan flew his private plane over the western portion of New York in the vicinity of where Buffalo is located. The flight traces the iconic logo of the Buffalo Bills football team in a creative fashion. The image of the flight path made the rounds on social media with many admiring the pilot’s efforts.

“That is so freakin cool!!” a Tweeter writes. “No doubt how much this team is loved!”

Joseph M. Jeswald is the pilot who took to the skies to create the masterpiece, according to the Democrat and Chronicle. You can view the pilot’ journey to tracing out the logo in his private plane here.

Jeswald later took credit for the flight on the Bills’ Twitter page.

The 155-mile journey taken by Jeswald in his Piper Saratoga single-piston plane took about 90 minutes, according to FlightAware.

The site shows he took off around 11 a.m. in Lancaster, New York, and landed an hour and a half later. Fans of the Buffalo Bills often refer to themselves as the “Bills Mafia” and Jeswald claims to be a member of one of the proudest fanbases in the NFL.

The Buffalo Bills are off to a solid start in the young 2020 season. Through six games the team sits at four wins and two losses. That record currently has them sitting atop of the ultra-competitive AFC East. The division includes the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins and New York Jets along with the Bills. The teams will square off against the rival Patriots this Sunday.
