The Tampa Bay Bucs are trying out a new practice technique in hopes of being prepared for their next game.

Pro Football Talk reports the Bucs are practicing a night this week as they get ready to face the Los Angeles this week. The game is set for prime time as this week’s ESPN Monday Night football matchup.

Tampa Bay Quarterback Tom Brady is hopeful the change will help players adjust to playing at a later time.

“I hope so,” Brady said on Friday. “I don’t think it’s about a prediction from us. It’s about our process and trying to go out there and do a good job. Whatever it takes for us to play well, that’s what (Head Coach Bruce Arians) is interested in, so that’s what we’re focused on.”

Bucs in Midst of Successful Season

Brady’s Bucs are 7-3 on the season and are considered a trendy pick to represent the NFC in the upcoming super bowl. The Rams have also had much success this season as the NFL rolls into week 11.

The 43-year-old Brady has multiple NFL championships under his belt and knows the value of productive practice. He is hopeful that night practices not only help him adjust but also his teammates.

“I’ve practiced at basically all different times and places,” he says. “I have done a lot of different things. I’ve played a long time, so over the years there has been a lot of different types of practices — morning, night, travel to practice, practice in gyms, practice on a cricket field in England once. There have been quite a few different places. Ball rooms, we’ve done it all.”

On the field, Brady is having another MVP type season in his first year with the Bucs. He is completing 66 percent of his passes and 23 touchdowns to just seven interceptions.
