Olivia Culpo is looking for a new TV show to binge. And she’s asking her millions of followers for suggestions.
First, she posted photos of herself wearing a white, form-fitting sweater dress. She’s lounging on a couch and eating from a big bowl of popcorn. Then in the next photo, she appears to be puckering up for a kiss.
The former Miss Universe and girlfriend of NFL star Christian McCaffrey is just like all of us. She watches TV. But we’re betting most of us would be wearing sweats to lounge on the couch while watching television.
She posted on Instagram:
“What are we watching these days ladies and gentlemen? Christian made me watch Friday night lights (part of my football 101 curriculum from my stories) and he won’t let me watch dateline anymore. So I’m stuck. Any suggestions?”
She tagged Revolve Beauty and Revolve’s Privacy Please clothing.
Yes, Olivia Culpo, Friday Night Lights Is a Football Must
First, Christian McCaffrey was correct in asking Olivia Culpo to watch “Friday Night Lights.” Because we all know “Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can’t Lose.”
The show is timeless as it tells the story of how high school football impacts Dillon, a small town in Texas. The show actually was filmed in and around Austin. But all Texans love their football. The original “Friday Night Lights” was a book about real-life Odessa Permian High School. Then it became a movie.
In fact, Christian McCaffrey, the running back for the Carolina Panthers, jumped on Olivia Culpo’s Instagram and posted:
“Friday Night Lights, the movie, greatest sports film of all time.”
Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton starred in the celebrated TV show, which ran from 2006-11.
Other fans agreed with McCaffrey. One fan wrote “Nothing better than Friday Night Lights and a shirtless Taylor Kitsch.” If you’re not familiar with the show, Kitsch played running back Tim Riggins.
Others suggested the current football-themed show, “All-American.”
Still others switched from sports TV shows entirely.
What else did her fans tell Olivia Culpo to watch? We know Dateline, with its weekly crime stories, is out.
One fan suggested Entourage. That’s an HBO classic about a actor, his brother and two friends from home. His agent also plays a huge, funny role.
Several wanted Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey to watch “Bridgerton,” the hot Netflix show produced by Shonda Rimes of Grey’s Anatomy fame.
Other fans wanted to post about Olivia Culpo, the model, fashion designer, social influencer and businesswoman.
One asked “are you in church?” Well, she is wearing a dress. And there’s a stained glass window in the background.
“I wish I looked like this watching Netflix.” Yes, us, too.
Still another wrote: “I could watch you for a lifetime. You’re my favorite movie.”
