If we told you that there is a video of Peyton Manning on stage singing country music all while drinking a beer, you would want to watch, right? Of course, you would.
This one goes out to all of you fellow Outsiders out there. What is better than Peyton Manning, country music, and beer? Seriously, try and find something. We’ll wait.
The truth of the matter is, you probably aren’t going to find anything better. We’ve got all the evidence we need down below. On the Friday night before Halloween, the former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos quarterback got on stage with country music singer, songwriter, and record producer Brett Eldredge at a concert in Denver. The two sang the chorus of “The Reason” together under the bright lights. Eldredge posted a short clip to his official Instagram page after it happened.
“There are vocalists and then there’s Peyton Manning,” Eldredge wrote alongside the video. “He can’t be matched…legend…what a weekend!”
So, if you ever wanted to see Peyton Manning go full-on country music superstar, this is your chance. Oh, and not to mention, Manning has a beer in his hand the entire time.
Even Nashville songwriter and producer Ross Copperman was blown away by Manning and Eldredge’s duet. He left a comment saying, “Omg. This is blowing my mind.”
Meanwhile, it’s clear that other country music fans and NFL fans felt the same way.
“Two of my favs!” another fan replied. “Congrats Peyton on your induction into the Broncos Ring of Fame.”
“As if I needed another reason to like Peyton Manning even more 😂” a third fan said.
Peyton Manning is a Longtime Fan of Country Music
Just like so many country music stars were fans of Peyton Manning as a football player, Manning is also a big fan of their work as well. As a matter of fact, the Manning family has deep roots down in the south. Peyton, specifically, spent many of his early years as an adult in the state of Tennessee. He did play college football in Knoxville for the University of Tennessee, after all. So, we know that he has a lot of good friends in the industry.
To illustrate that point, some of the biggest country stars in the industry came out to celebrate the opening of Manning’s bar, Saloon 16, back in December of 2020. Manning was even pictured along with the likes of Luke Combs, Drew Holcomb, Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen, Morgan Wallen, and Cole Swindell.
But who knew that one of those good friends was Brett Eldredge. And who knew that their friendship was going to lead to the duet that took place last Friday night? Either way, we aren’t complaining.
