Danica Patrick is certainly always up for an adventure. Recently, the former NASCAR driver traded in yoga on a beach for a thrilling rock climbing adventure. She brought along her new beau Carter Comstock as well.

Patrick certainly looks happy, even as she’s hanging on the side of a cliff. As they say, the couple that hits the rocks together avoids a rocky relationship. Fortunately, neither one of them appears to be looking down. Patrick certainly enjoyed their time together.

On Instagram, she wrote, “I remember when I used to be afraid of heights. Via Ferrata climbing. Farm tour. Tasting menu. Hot springs. All charged up on minerals and relaxation?. ready for lots of fun work at the Indy 500 next weekend!”

In an interview with Extra, Patrick discussed her new relationship. And she doesn’t appear to be pining after her old flame Aaron Rodgers any longer. Patrick is happy with Comstock and the two enjoy a variety of activities together.

“We both love to travel and we’re both super open-minded,” Danica Patrick explained. “And I had this sort of grand vision for finding someone I could just sit on the couch with and, like, have a glass of wine and just literally come up with any topic at all, simple or complicated. Just go, ‘Let’s talk about a tree’ and just go for two hours on the nature of a tree… I just always imagined how great it would be to find someone to sit on the couch and talk with for hours, and that’s just what we do.”

Danica Patrick Fights Off Coyotes

Of course, not all of Danica Patrick’s adventures have been quite so fun. She also dealt with a scene out of a survivalist horror movie last month. While in Arizona, Patrick fended off her a pack of coyotes when they came after her dog.

Patrick went into mom mode, coming after the coyotes to save her little fur babies. Of course, she did end up tripping and falling in the rescue.

“Mom coming in hot to save my baby from the coyotes,” Patrick captioned her Instagram story. “You should see my face! I’m looking for you coyotes. In the meantime, the tree branches found my face.”

Fortunately, both Patrick and her dog survived the encounter. The driver went into more details about how she came to her dog’s rescue.

“My scratches are still healing up,” Patrick told Extra. “I live in Arizona… I had let my dogs be outside all the time. It’s fenced in; however, it’s not tall enough… I know something can get in now; she got attacked. I was out in the garage working out… She just wandered off and I saw my other dog Ella just frantically panic… I just started running and that’s when the yelping started, the coyotes and her… They had gotten scared off by the yelling and running… She had seven bites on her.”
