Former UFC fighter and WWE wrestler Ronda Rousey may be known for her fighting skills. But soon she’s entering the ring of parenthood. Rousey announced with great excitement that she and her husband Travis Browne are expecting their first child together.
In a recent YouTube video, Rousey spilled the beans for her numerous fans. It turns out that Rousey has been pregnant for some time. But she’s been keeping her pregnancy a secret from the public. Now, she says her baby bump is too big to hide. So she wanted to share the news.
“How do I put this? Pow, four months pregnant!” Rousey said while sitting with her husband Travis Browne. “What, you didn’t even know for the last four months. Woo! I’ve been pregnant since January. Four months, baby bump, I can’t hide it anymore. It’s time to show it off.”

The video walked viewers through all the pregnancy milestones that they didn’t know they missed. Both Rousey and Browne went to the doctor for various ultrasound appointments. They got to see their baby as the baby grew over the past few months. Rousey was all smiles at the news.
“Thank you for all the well wishes and all the positivity to get us to this point. Baddest baby on the planet coming to you soon, September 22nd,” Rousey said.
Rousey started dating Travis Browne, a UFC fighter in his own right, in 2015. Browne competed in the heavyweight division of the sport. But he essentially retired with his last fight being in 2017. At the time, the couple caused a media stir. Browne was married to estranged wife Jenna Renee Webb. He was also under investigation after Webb accused him of domestic abuse. By October 2015, the couple went public about their relationship.
Both Browne and Rousey got engaged in 2017 and married a couple of months later in Hawaii. Rousey, of course, rose to fame competing in the UFC. She held the UFC Women’s Bantamweight, the longest to hold the title ever in the sport. But Rousey retired after two consecutive losses.
She decided to transition into the WWE where she adopted “Rowdy” from Rodney Piper. Rousey appeared in the WWE between 2014 to 2019. She became the only woman to ever headline both the WWE and UFC as a result. But Rousey ultimately decided to leave that sport as well. Additionally, she made appearances in both film and television as well.
