Legendary female fighter Ronda Rousey has some exciting news. On Tuesday, the mom-to-be announced the gender of her upcoming bundle of joy.
Ronda Rousey posted a clip to her Instagram page to reveal the gender of her first child with her followers. According to the post, Rousey and her husband, Travis Browne, will be expecting a baby girl in September.
Before announcing her pregnancy in April, the 34-year-old had talked openly about wanting to be a mother for years. In fact, she even took a hiatus from the WWE to focus on becoming a mom.
In the clip, Rousey and her husband walk casually towards the camera, giving a low-key announcement about the gender of their baby.
“Our gender reveal is finally here,” Rousey begins the less than two-minute clip. “We didn’t want to do anything that would set hundreds of acres ablaze or thousands eve. Some people are idiots,” the world champion fighter joked. “We didn’t want to do that. So we’re keeping it simple. We’re keeping it safe. We’re keeping it Browsey Acres style.”
Then, mid-sentence, the camera cuts to an animated clip of an egg that cracks, revealing that Ronda Rousey and her husband will, in fact, be welcoming a baby girl this fall. The announcement also includes hilarious behind-the-scenes footage of outtakes that feature a very vocal donkey.

Ronda Rousey & Husband Keep Things Laidback With Gender Reveal
The former UFC star announced she was pregnant with her first child back in April. Rousey and the 38-year-old fellow MMA fighter announced their happy news via YouTube. In the video, Ronda Rousey revealed that she is in her second trimester and 18 weeks along.
“Pow! Four months pregnant!” Rousey said in the clip, removing a pillow from her stomach to reveal her baby bump. “I’ve been pregnant since January. So, four months. Woo, baby bump! I can’t hide it anymore. So, it’s time to show it off. And just wanted to share with you guys a little bit of the journey we’ve been on. And there’s definitely much more to the story that we’ll be telling later.”
The video also featured footage from several of Ronda Rousey’s ultrasound appointments. At the time, the couple did not reveal the gender but made sure to tell their fans they would announce it later. Yet, in the clip, they did reveal the due date.
“Baddest baby on the planet,” she said in the video. “Coming to you soon. September 22nd.”This will be Browne’s third child. He shares two children, Kaleo and Keawe, from a previous marriage.
