Call Terry Bradshaw a popular Fox sports analyst, a Pro Football Hall of Famer and a reality TV star. One thing he’s not is a disinterested, snobby bystander.

On a rainy, chilly afternoon in North Texas last week, Bradshaw reached for a pair of jumper cables to help a man with a dead car. They were both standing outside in the elements while at a strip mall in Gainesville, Texas, about an hour northwest of Dallas.

The man appeared not to recognize the gregarious Bradshaw, who won four Super Bowl rings with the Pittsburgh Steelers and is a fixture on Fox’s NFL Sunday.

Bradshaw hooked up the jumper cables to his SUV, then the man’s car. When the ignition finally turned, Bradshaw played the ref, threw his arms in the air and shouted “touchdown.”

The man, still not recognizing Bradshaw, thanked the former Steeler and offered him something for the help. Bradshaw said no thanks.

A woman standing nearby did know Bradshaw. She took out her phone and taped the two men’s interaction.

The man walked inside the local mail store. It was only then he found out his anonymous, roadside angel was Terry Bradshaw, NFL legend.

Cindy Hurt Hammer witnessed Bradshaw’s good deed. She told Dallas’ NBC5 about what she saw.

“He had no idea who was helping him until he came in the store to use the computer and we told him,” said Hammer, who filed the video.

“The world needs to see more people like this. He is a blessing to so many people and probably doesn’t even know it.”

Bradshaw’s family lives along the Texas-Oklahoma border. It’s where they’ve filmed the Bradshaw Bunch, which premiered in September on the E! Network.

Bradshaw has tried to carve out an identity outside of sports.

In addition to his foray into reality TV, he was also a participant on The Masked Singer, crooning country tunes while wearing a giant deer costume.
