On Tuesday morning, PGA golfer Tiger Woods was hospitalized following a rollover car crash in California. Dispatch audio from the scene of the incident has now been released, and it highlights the severity of the accident.

During the dispatch audio obtained by TMZ, an EMS worker is overheard requesting that nearby roads be blocked off. Officials are quick to block southbound traffic near the scene of Woods’ crash. Additionally, you can hear the urgency in the voice of the first responder as he requests further help.

The EMS worker calls for backup as he recognizes the gravity of the accident. As emergency rescue personnel arrived at the scene, they assisted with the vehicle extrication of the crash victim. Multiple outlets have reported that rescue workers used the jaws of life to extract Woods from the vehicle.

Paramedics rushed an injured Woods to a nearby hospital after they freed him from the crashed car that landed on its side. Woods is allegedly receiving medical treatment and has already undergone surgery for multiple injuries to his legs. At this time, it is unclear what caused the single-car accident in L.A. County.

Tiger Woods Injured in Terrible Car Crash

Around 7 a.m. this morning, emergency workers responded to a bad rollover car crash that involved Tiger Woods. The golfer wrecked his car in Ranchos Palos Verdes at Hawthorne Blvd. near Blackhorse Rd.

The single-car accident involved only Woods, and officials have already ruled out any suspicions of alcohol playing a role in the crash. However, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. have yet to rule out any other substances as possible contributing factors in the incident.

The 45-year-old was in town for his annual Genesis Invitational golf tournament. The Riviera Country Club in the Pacific Palisades hosted the event. In addition, Woods had a two-day photo shoot with Golf Digest. Photos from Monday showed Woods smiling beside actor David Spade and former NBA star Dwyane Wade as part of the photo shoot.

Woods recently had back surgery to remove a pressurized disc fragment that was pinching a nerve. The famous golfer has had five back surgeries over the years to alleviate similar issues.

There are no further details on Tiger Woods’ condition or the cause of the crash. Police are currently investigating the incident.
