Tom Brady is asking fans what he’s should with his off-season. The reigning Super Bowl champion and MVP said he’s got five months he needs to fill before training camp starts in July.
He could rearrange his trophy case? That would probably take five months.
Most of the replies were from Chiefs fans. They’re unfit to reprint here and illegal in most states. Brady usually spends most offseasons brooding over his haters and using their tears for workout fuel. But he put out a video calling out his detractors. In it he promises he “kept all of the receipts” right after the Super Bowl.
But there were some good suggestions.
“Helping other people who are in need,” one woman posted. And Brady does have a long history of charity work with a number of organizations. Someone else said Brady should play lawn darks with his Lombardi Trophies. Considering he threw one from his boat to another during the Buccaneers Super Bowl celebration, that isn’t outside the realm of possibility.
In reality, everyone knows what Tom Brady will do this off-season. He’s going to train nonstop. He told reporters after his Super Bowl win he wants to improve his speed.
“Agility-wise, I want to work on my speed this offseason, try to get my speed up a little bit,” Brady said in a video conference. “I see all these guys running around; I’ve got to make a few of those plays. I’ve already started thinking about how I’m going to train, so I’d say that’s the one thing that I want to always keep working on. And continue to throw the ball well, be in a position to throw the ball accurately, continue to be a student of the game. I think that’s how you can continue to make improvements.”
