Tom Brady Refuses to Let the Atlanta Falcons Live in Peace, Trolls Team in New Week 1 ‘W’ Video

In an attempt to psych the next opponent out, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady took to his social media accounts to troll the Atlanta Falcons after their 6-32 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles.

In the post, with the caption “W,” Tom Brady stated, “Hope you guys had a great weekend. Football is officially back and it’s great to be 1-0. We have a big week ahead. The marathon is just getting started. We have a lot to improve on. This week, let’s go.”

Tom Brady is also seen wearing a shirt that is a subtle jab at the Falcons. He is refusing to let the team forget they blew a 28-3 lead during the Super Bowl LI in 2017. Brady was playing for the New England Patriots during that game.

Tom Brady’s followers quickly notice the jab. One Twitter user writes, “Ok Tom that was savage. 3:28 in the back.”

The Buccaneers kicked off the 2021 NFL season with a 31-29 win over the Dallas Cowboys last Thursday (September 9th). The Buccaneers and Falcons are set to play each other this Sunday (September 19th).

Tom Brady Talks Moving His Family to Tampa

During a recent interview with NBC Tampa affiliate Channel 8, Tom Brady opened up about making the move from Boston to Tampa. “In Boston, it’s very sports-centric. Here is as well, but in a different way too. I think there’s a lot of other activities for people to do.”

Tom Brady further explained that besides sports, other people are out bike riding, rollerblading, and even going paddle boarding.

“So I think there’s just a lot of different activities going on so people aren’t always focused on where we’re at.”

Tom Brady does talk about his wife, Gisele Bunchen, and her thoughts about Tampa. “[My wife] doesn’t know ultimately where she was to be. But she certainly loves Tampa and I do too. There’s a lot more to explore for us also. So there’s just a lot to see and we’ve only been here a short period of time.”

In regards to his Tampa expectations, Tom Brady admitted that he expected the weather to be pretty different from Boston.

“I thought it’d be hot. And it is. But I love the heat and realized, growing up in California, I hadn’t been there in 25 years.”

Tom Brady joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last year after being with the New England Patriots from 2001 to 2019. He previously stated during an interview with Good Morning America earlier this year.

“When you’re in one place for 20 years, you think that’s the only way. And I think when you go to a different place, you realize, ‘Wow, there’s another way that people do things.’”

Tom Brady goes on to add that in football it’s not about what a player does last year. “It’s kind of, what you’re going to do this year.”
