Tom Brady Reunites with Patriots Owner Robert Kraft, Looks All-Business Entering Gillette Stadium

by Jonathan Howard

Today is the day. Tom Brady returns to Gillette Stadium to play against his former New England Patriots tonight, and it’s all business. Already, Brady has made his way to the stadium and is preparing for what comes later tonight.

The GOAT makes his return. This time, he’s a Buccaneer looking to take a game from the Patriots in Foxborough.

While the seven-time Super Bowl champion made his way through the facilities, he ran into a couple of familiar friends. One of them was former New Orleans Saints QB, Drew Brees. Of course, Brady also met up with his former boss, Robert Kraft.

For the defending champions, this is a game they should win. The Patriots are working with a rookie QB in Mac Jones and have a losing record coming into tonight’s game. Brady and the Buccs have wins over the Cowboys and the Falcons. However, last week they ran into troubles in Los Angeles. The Rams took down Tampa 34-24.

That was a game that saw Tom Brady throw for 41/55 and 432 yards. He only tossed one touchdown during the game. When Brady is your leading rusher, that isn’t a great day of offense either. Especially when he only has 14 yards.

The only win the Patriots have on the season is over the New York Jets. They have lost to the Miami Dolphins as well as the Saints this season. The growing pains for their young quarterback continued. One touchdown and three interceptions.

Tom Brady Plans to Break a Record Tonight

If Tom Brady is able to manage just 68 yards passing tonight against his former team, he will set the NFL career passing record. That isn’t a crazy feat to reach. If he does break the record, the Patriots are on record saying that they will pause at the stadium to acknowledge it. However, they will not stop gameplay.

Prior to the game, there will also be a tribute video for Brady. After all, he carried the franchise through an entire dynasty and brought in more Super Bowl rings than any other QB. The man is the GOAT. He gets a video. While there will be emotions around his return when the game begins and the ball is kicked, it’s all business.

Heading into the game, the Buccaneers are ready to put up points. They have the offensive power to run up the score on any team. The Patriots, have a bit of a porous defense. This will be quite a game for longtime New England fans. They will be watching their franchise quarterback of the past, the one that defined their franchise, against the hopeful quarterback of the future.

Tom Brady against Mac Jones. Tampa Bay against New England, it all goes down tonight at 8:20 PM on NBC.
