Looks like we will not get to see that Tommy Fury and Jake Paul fight after all. Fury has had to call off the fight due to health reasons.

Right now, it is being called a medical issue that will keep Fury from making the fight on December 18. The British boxer was scheduled to take on Jake Paul but that will have to wait. This was a fight many were looking forward to. Fury is the younger brother of world champion Tyson Fury and has a boxing pedigree.

Meanwhile, Paul the YouTuber turned fighter has been annoying fans and delighting many others. His fights have gotten a lot of criticism. That was set to end when he stepped into the ring with Fury. Now, there will be a change of plans.

According to the boxer himself, the issue is a bacterial chest infection and a broken rib.

“I am absolutely heartbroken that I have been forced to withdraw from my fight with Jake Paul due to a bacterial chest infection and [a] broken rib… really do hope we can get this fight rescheduled in the new year. I want this fight to still happen more than anything.”

Tommy Fury and Jake Paul Have Bad Blood

Before dropping out of the fight, Tommy Fury was talking a lot of smack to Jake Paul. Of course, the YouTuber was sending it right back. These two fighters both have undefeated records. However, Fury’s record is filled with actual boxers.

This would have been a big match to validate whether he was the real deal or not. However, that will have to wait now. Just like his last fight, Paul wanted to throw in an extra sie bet around the fight. He offered half a million dollars to Fury if he won. However, if Paul took the win Fury would have to change his name to “Tommy Fumbles”

Fury replied by agreeing to the deal and saying, “You’re leaving on a stretcher. You’re getting knocked spark out and you know it. Get it over to me now.”

However, another fighter will meet Paul in the ring. This one is a rematch.

Tyron Woodley Getting Rematch

Instead of taking on a professional boxer, Jake Paul is set to face Tyron Woodley yet again. The rematch is happening, although Woodley is not going to get a long training camp. Perhaps the former UFC Champion has been staying ready just in case. So, the tattoo clause of the last fight contract looks to be fulfilled.

Back in August, the fight with Woodley made headlines. It was the first striker he had decided to take on in the ring. Although he is almost 40 years old, Woodley gave Paul the best fight he has faced. Despite winning the fight, many simply remember Paul being knocked into the ropes.

Could Woodley get the best of Paul? Or will Tommy Fury still have the opportunity to knock the vlogger out for the first time in the future?
