Travis Kelce’s Girlfriend Relives 2020 Playoff Memories Ahead of Super Bowl LV

by Thad Mitchell

Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce is gearing up to play in his second consecutive Super Bowl this weekend.

Kelce and the Chief will take on the Tampa Bay Bucs in hopes of once again claiming the Lombardi Trophy. The Bucs are lead by quarterback Tom Brady, who is appearing in the big game for the tenth time. Brady will be shooting for his seventh National Football League championship.

While Kelce is looking forward to this weekend’s matchup against the Bucs, his girlfriend is looking back at last year’s run. Kelce and Kayla Nicole became an item in 2017 but split up at some point. In December, Kelce confirmed the two are back together once again. Nicole, a model and on-air host, is big on social media and often posts photos of herself and Kelce celebrating a Chiefs win.

“Prada you,” she writes in the Instagram post’s caption space. She also uses the hashtag #RUNITBACK, which is a saying among Chiefs players and fans who want a repeat of last year’s success. The post took in more than 160,000 “Likes” along with thousands of comments and reposts. Nicole has over 500,000 followers on Instagram.

Nicole is Travis Kelce’s biggest fan and more recently took a stroll down memory lane to relive the 2020 championship season. It is safe to say that Nicole would love to see her man and his team claim another Super Bowl ring.

Among the photos she shared was of her and Kelce during the celebration of last season’s AFC Championship game. The Chiefs beat the Tennessee Titans last year to advance to the Super Bowl, where they defeated the San Francisco 49ers. The photos show the happy couple playing in the red and yellow confetti as if it were freshly fallen snow.

“Woke up next to an AFC champ this Morning!” she writes. “Few things more satisfying than watching the man you love achieve his dreams.”

Kelce had a huge game against the Buffalo Bills to advance to the Super Bowl. He hauled in 13 catches for 118 yards and two touchdowns in the win. He also had an outstanding regular season and was named to the 2021 Pro Bowl for his efforts.
