In the Los Angeles Rams’ 28-17 loss to the Miami Dolphins, Rams’ Quarterback Jared Goff accounted for four turnovers. All four occurred in the first half. Goff also threw for 355 yards and a score, but Twitter is not concentrated on that statistic. Accounts all over Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok have been blasting Goff for his atrocious performance. Many show footage from the brutal hit that caused Goff to lose one of the two fumbles. Jared Goff ended the game with two interceptions and two fumbles.

In his defense, Jared Goff did get absolutely annihilated in this vicious hit from Emmanuel Ogbah. That particular fumble resulted in an 80-yard scoop and score by Andrew Van Ginkel. With Goff’s four turnover performance, the Dolphins cruised to an easy victory in the first NFL start for a rookie quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa. With the win, the Dolphins improve to 4-3 while the Rams drop to 5-3.

Twitter Reams Jared Goff

To put it simply, people were either not happy with Goff, or they were delighted to see him struggle.

Coming Up for Jared Goff and the Rams

The Rams started the season fairly hot with victory’s over the entire NFC East, but that is not saying much. The NFC East has a combined 7 wins, 20 losses and 1 tie, worst of any division. In contrast, the Rams’ division, the NFC West, are a combined 20-10. The San Fransisco 49ers, who are the last place team in that division, are still two games ahead of the first place team in the East at 4-4. With the loss, the Rams fall to third in the division behind Arizona and Seattle.

After a well needed bye week, the Rams are set to face off against the Seahawks. The game will happen on November 15 at 3:25 PM CT in the new SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Depending on the outcome of next weeks games, the Rams could be in a position to move into a tie with Seattle for first place in the West. Whether or not that is the case, their matchup with Seattle feels like a must win for the Rams. It will be interesting to see how Jared Goff bounces back after this week’s pathetic effort.
